What did I do?
The Gym Team project was implemented as part of the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” program and focused on solving the social problem of giving up on physical activity due to the lack of a companion for workouts, fear of exercising alone in public places, and lack of motivation.
Summary of activities and achievements:
- Physical activity map – We created a map to check out groups of people willing to train together in the area.
- Facebook group – We gathered 66 people looking for training partners.
- Marrow donor registration – We organized a campaign to register potential donors.
- Social media – We reached more than 126,000 recipients through active promotion.
- Partners – We acquired 6 partners.
- Cooperation with experts – We acquired the support of nutritionists and trainers.

Gym Team aims to connect people who need a companion to start their fitness journey. The project addresses the problem of lack of physical activity due to reasons such as the absence of a training buddy, fear of exercising alone, or lack of motivation. The target group is adults in Warsaw and surrounding areas who are interested in sports.
In four months, the project has built a Facebook group with 66 members seeking training partners, created a Physical Activity Map, conducted bone marrow donor registration, and achieved significant social media reach.
The project plan includes activities across four areas: social media presence, budget and partnerships, media mentions, and registration of potential bone marrow donors.
